I am also concerned that this entry seems to say that Edouard was originally from Dublin. Is that right ? What was his occupation ?  Is there any other information that I should know ? 3. Hi Sue, Yes, it says Edward is from Dublin, Ireland and is not giving occupation but state that he is now living in La Prairie. In the margin it is written Kelley but then the priest realized it was the bride's mother name and in the register then it says Elisabeth Helley. Witnesses are: Louis Brault est le père. François Brault is the uncle. Michel and Barnas? brothers of the groom. There are also and M. O'Connor and Thomas O'Connor (are they family?) Catherine and Catherine-Ann O'Connor, sisters to the groom. Hope it helps.
