    3. Genevieve Amable Presseau dit Chambly married Bernard Jolive dit Lepine 11 Jan 1767 at Pointe Claire, she of that parish he of the parish of Ste Genevieve de Pierrefords. The first baptismal record of a child (Marie Amable) is 6 years later 30 Sep 1773. The only other record of a child (Marie Louise) is a marriage 13 Feb 1792 and death 12 Jan 1795, both in Ste Genevieve parish. Age at death was 24 making a birth about 1771. It seems odd that there is such a length of time between the marriage and first birth (4years) and that there is no baptismal record for the older child. Seems odd that there are only 2 children in those 6 years, especially considering the wife remarried 21 Apr 1777, likewise at Ste Genevieve, and had 9 children between 1778 and 1792. (I'm assuming Bernard died but haven't yet chased down his info). My assumption is that the couple must have relocated somewhere out of Quebec after the 1767 marriage and prior to the 1773 birth. Would appreciate any thoughts from those with greater knowledge than I, of Quebec and her inhabitants, on where this couple may have gone for those years. Thank you.

I was thinking maybe her going home to be with her mother when she had her first one. But looking at the 1880 census it shows the first child born had both parents born Canada, could be error by census taker I suppose. Hattie married Joseph Baron 13 November 1870 in Rhode Island. Name listed as Bebo. Her age was 20 when she married making her born in 1850. She is on the 1870 census working as a domestic in South Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island and is 20 years old listed under Bebo. When her daughter married William Netherland she gave mother's name as Harriet Cole. So there is a lot of conflicting info. I have a note that perhaps they were married October 9 1845 to 1848 in Saint-Pie, Bagot, Quebec. They had a daughter Harriet Mary born 21 March 1846? in So. Stukley? So need her into also. I am not sure if any of the last names are accurate. 2. Thank you Joyce. Hattie was probably born 21 Mar 1850 if parents married in 1848. In records she listed her parents as Truso Bobo and Armelia Graveline, which sort of match.
