Guillaume LANGLOIS was born Unknown in Prob:St-Leonard, Alecon, Orne, France. He died before May 1634 in France. Guillaume had two sons Noel and Jean. Noel was a riverboat pilot on the St-Lawerance Jean was a ships Captain and showed up in Quebec several times. It is also believed "possible"(peut-etre) that he had 3 daughters Marie,Marguerite,and Francoise. Marie married Jean Juchereau Marguerite married Abraham Martin in 1613 Francoise married Pierre Desportes All the above except Jean were in Quebec in 1634. It is generally accepted that Marguerite and Francoise were sisters from liseaux,France. Rene Jette has Guillaume listed as deceased on Noels marriage Certificate of 25 July 1634. Parents - Unknown Birthdate-Unknown Death- BEF May 1634 Guillaume married Jeanne (Milot) MILLET unknown. Jeanne was born Unknown in France. Rene Jette has Jeanne listed as alive on 25 Jul 1634,which is the date of Noels wedding. Death- Aft May 1634 Parents- Unknown Birthdate-Unknown Guillaume and Jeanne had the following children: 2 M i. Noel LANGLOIS was born in 1606 in Saint-Leonard, Alecon, Orne, France. He died on 14 Jul 1684 in Beauport, QC. He was buried on 15 Jul 1684 in Beauport, QC. Noel was recruited in France as a censituary of Robert Gifart.Noel arrrived in Quebec the 4th of June 1634 aboard the ship the Saint Jehan. Pierre de Nesle was the Captain. For the next two months they built the manor for Lord Giffard and on the day the manor was dedicated (25 July,1634) Noel married Francoise Grenier. He was given land at Beauport.After rearing ten children and the death of Francoise he remarried.The jesuit relations book shows him as a norman pilot and also says he gave a yellow scarf to the church as a christmas offering. Noel was sometimes listed as a riverboat pilot also a ships carpenter. 4- 1666 census of Quebec listed as age 60,Veuf habittant. 5- 1681 census of Quebec as taken from Histoire desCanadiens-Francais par Benjamin Sulte,tome 5,chapter 4. Noel Langlois age 78,Marie Crevet(widow of Robert Caron) his wife age 71. Note: St-Leonard des-parcs does not have a baptism record and they have a good reason they began as a parish in 1623.Possibly St-Leonard des-Bois as this is on the sarthe river near Alencon and Mortagne in Perche. On 29 June 1637 Robert Giffard had ceded to Noel 300 arpents of land in Beauport. Noel being a carpenter had completed his 3 year contract to the satisfaction of the seigneur Giffard. Noel married (1) Francoise GRENIER on 25 Jul 1634 in Quebec, New France. Francoise was born in France. She died on 1 Nov 1665 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. She was buried on 1 Nov 1665 in Quebec. Marie was born in 1617/1621 in Benouville, Bayeux, Normandie, France. She died on 22 Nov 1695 in La Baie-St-Paul, Charlevoix, Pq.
