I wonder if all could advice me about something I have been pondering. My husbands grandfather, Joseph Cady had a pocket watch listed as part of the estate at Washinton Probate Court. I have thought about it and believe it might have been the watch he got when he retired from the railroad. My question is where would you find a record if he received a watch when he retired, in Middlesex, VT before 1920. Also is there a place where they might tell if it was engraved with his name? Just wondering if I should start a treasure hunt. Harriet
