    3. Hello, As I continue to look for information on a MILLER family who went to Canada somewhere around 1800 (from U.S.), I just came across this MILLER family in the 1881 Census for Ontario: Peter MILLER M Male 39 O <Ontario> Farmer ...icter...in MILLER M Female 19 Q <Quebec> Victerine MILLER Female <1 Born: Aug; 9/12 O <Ontario> Joseph MILLER W Male 100 Q <Quebec> Catherin CHISHOLM W Female 33 O <Ontario> Female Farmer ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- Source Information: Census Place Lochiel, Glengarry, Ontario Family History Library Film 1375863 District 99 Sub-district D Division 2 Page Number 6 Household Number 21 This was on the LDS web site: www.familysearch.org I noticed that Joseph MILLER living in the home was ..100.. years old (for the 1800's that was pretty good). He was born in Quebec ~1781 !!! And, I also noticed that the Mrs. Margaret CHISHOLM living in the home with them was listed as a .. female farmer ! .. I am looking for a MILLER family who moved from the U.S. to Canada / Quebec anytime between 1770 and 1800. Levi MILLER was reportedly born in NH in 1790, but I'm wondering if he was actually born in Canada - but his family had come up there from NH. Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA, USA) P.S. It's looks like RootsWeb .. continues to have "server problems." And, perhaps "computer problems" in general.
