My grandfather told me that when his mother died in Peterborough, NH on July 24, 1894 from childbirth a baby named Marie was born July 20 he was a year old. He was taken by his father to relatives in Canada to be raised. His neice Sylvia Little of N. Andover has told me that her father says he was born in Aus Sable, Michigan but I have been unable to find any such record. The death of my great grandmother has left me with a hole in who raised my grandfather and where. I do know that the was family around Lake Megantic as they later said how much that lake meant to them.
