Kate, If you are referring to the grants made to parents who had 12 or more living children in 1890 or later, write to the address given for the Archives Nationales du Quebec (or the e-mail address). You can write in English, but send the exact references as they are found in the data base. I was delighted to see that one of my three great-grandfathers who applied for the grant took the trouble to have his children's baptisms certified. I now have the names of their godparents. All three of my great-grandfathers signed their petition. Expect it to take about six weeks for your request to be filled. You will be billed when the records arrive.
