For those researching former and /or present French, Metis, or any Quebec families whose ancestors once lived in Quebec (or still do) we now have a separate Rootsweb list to post Obits in. This new list is for those wishing to post obits or for those who research/collect them. It took a while for approval (request had to be worded just so) This should take some of the pressure off the present list.
