Hello, I am again beginning to search for information on my father's side of my family. I have thus far been able to find my great grandparents, living in Vermont in 1840. I have no clue to this couple's marriage or where exactly in Canada they originated. I am wondering if there may be someone on this list who may provide some clues as to any "dit" names that may have been used from the name "Sarrazin/Sarrasin" I would be most appreciative of any information as I have been stuck here for quite a few years. I did find some "Sarrazin" living in L'Assomption, Portage, Canada in the late 1790's and can't figure out how to tie this line into mine. The birth date's fit, but without a marriage record or some record showing my ggrandfather's parent's, I am at a loss.
