Hi Roy, Thank you very much for your time to research for my question. I guess, unless somebody else can bring contradictory information, it solve this issue. Charles Boudrot married to Magdeleine Clouatre is the son of Claude Boudrot & Catherine Hebert. Their son Jean-Baptiste Boudrot got married to Marguerite Boissonneau. I guess corrections should be made to Bergeron, Vol. 2 page 50 item 320 and page 47 item 188 and page 44 item 42. White's books now at BCGS - Surrey, BC Page 204 of Dictionnaire Genealogique des Familles Acadiennes, volume I, 1999, by Stephen White gives the following: (note I am paraphrasing and translating) Charles Boudrot, son of Claude Boudrot and Catherine Hebert was born and baptized 14 June 1734 in Grand-Pre, Acadia. He married first about 1753, Madeleine Clouatre (Pierre and Marguerite LeBlanc). He married second 22 November 1802, in St-Luc de Langueuil, Quebec, Marie-Louise Perrault (Laurent and Louise Boileau) Hope this helps, Rob Roy -----Original Message----- From: Discussion [mailto:discussion@sympatico.ca] Sent: Friday, June 11, 2004 8:38 PM To: QUEBEC-L@rootsweb.com Subject: RE: [QUEBEC] Stephen A. White's books now at BCGS - Surrey, BC Hi Brenda, Could you do a look up for me? I have seen with Bergeron and other publications that Jean-Baptiste Boudreau/Boudrot married (2nd marriage) to Marguerite Boissonneau in Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie (L'Acadie) on Feb. 21st 1803. Jean-Baptiste's parents are Charles Boudrot & Magdeleine Clouatre. This Charles Boudrot is said to be the son of Francois Boudrot & Marguerite Pitre in Bergeron and other publications as well. A friend just told me he has discovered recently that Charles's parent were not Francois & Marguerite Pitre BUT Claude Boudrot & Catherine Hebert. He also claim that Mr. Stephen White is also stating that Charles 's parents are Claude Boudrot & Catherine Hebert. Can you verify with Mr. White's publication what he is saying about this Charles Boudrot's parents? If this prove to be right, I think many of us will have to use liquid paper for corrections. Thank you for your help.
