Carmen, Jette: Abel TURCOT (or TURCAULT) who lived at Ste-Famille, was born about 1631 and he came from Mouilleron-en-Pareds, arrondisement (district)of Fontenay-le-Comte, diocese of Maillezais in the old province of Poitou (Departement of Vendee today). His parents are unknown. He married Marie GIRARD 27 Nov 1662 at Chateau-Richier. Their 4th through 8th children were born at Ste-Famille.
