Hello, I'd like to repost my interest in learning about a couple, Albert and Yvonne JARRY, who probably lived in Quebec Province before 1919. They immigrated to Massachusetts in 1919, and had their children there in the 1920's. They were Age 34 when they moved down here. They probably lived in the Springfield, MA, area, and were in Chicopee, MA, in the 1930 Census. Yvonne's maiden name might have been LAMONT or LAMOTHE. I had thought her maiden name was LAMONT, but her sister seems to be living with them in 1930, and her name was Antoinette LAMOTHE. I don't know whether Albert died in the late 1940's or around 1950, or whether they were divorced. But, Yvonne remarried in 1952. She then married my grandfather, Silas "Dean" LEWIS, and lived with him in Chicopee until his death in 1961. (I just found an Albert JARRY in the SSDI Index who was born around the same time, but who died in Florida in 1964.) Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA, USA) P.S. By checking the JARRY Message Boards at www.genforum.com and www.familyhistory.com I noticed that there were several JARRY families who came down to New England around the same time, and some came from the same towns so were probably related.
