Romaine Duguay, b. May 14, 1829 Paspebiac, QC married Sophie Loisel (Loiselle) Romaine Died after 1881 but I think he was still alive in 1901 because he is on the census. My Grandfather Francois Xavier was the son of Romaine Duguay and Sophie Loisel. He married Sarah Elizabeth Gagnon who was my grandmother. She was born in 1884 in Westmeath, Ontario. They lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario for many years. They had a number of children one of whom is my mother. I have a great deal of info and some knowledge of more live Duguays but I would like to know who are your parents and grandparents. It will be interesting to see whether one of Grandfather's brothers is your relative. I am always happy to trade info and I have much at my disposal. I have been researching for a few years now and have met cousins who have been doing the same. There is still a Piece of a puzzle we are trying to solve with one great uncle but I am certain we will before long. Hope this helps. Sincerely JHiscock
