Diane Sheppard has written a three-part (not two-part) article about the Deerfield captives for _Michigan's Habitant Heritage_, the Journal of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan. The first part was published in April, the second in July. I've seen Part 3, the one summarizing the Rising / Raizenne family, which will appear in October.
