    3. Would you please give me more information about the online PRDH? What type of information or records are located there? Is there a fee to access the site? Thank you. 3. Wow, I post the PRDH website on this forum several times a month but here we go again: http://www.genealogie.umontreal.ca/en/acces.htm It gives Quebec baptisms, marriages, burials and some other genealogical important info that occurred between the beginning (about 1620) up to 1800, in English and in French. Certain basic information like given name/surname, place and year of a rite is free. You have to subscribe for a modest fee to get more detailed info such as exact date, names of bride and groom's parents. One nice feature, for free, is to click on "First and Last Names" on the main page, then go to the third paragraph where there is a hyperlink about variations of a surname. Once there place a surname in and you'll get every variation of that name and the frequency that variation occurred in the approx. 700,000 entries in their database.
