From the PRDH, I have different parents listed for Chrusostome BELANGER who m. Marie-Louise GODIN 17 Apr. 1776. The show Pierre Paul (BONSECOUR) BELANGER and Marie Claire FOURNIER who m. 28 Oct. 1742 at Cap-St-Ignace. The Couple page for the parents shows the m. of Chrysostome and Louise but the Family page does not list the birth of a Chrsysostome. Anyone have an answer? Could the parents be the same couple using different given names? Jackie Hostage Hi, Forne is a close enough resemblance to the name Fournier to be accepted as a match in the absence of any other possibility. Not all baptisms made it to us. The age at death of Chrysostome indivates he was born in 1750 or so. The family Belanger/Fournier shows a gap in births between 1746 and 1751. Obviously, Chrysostome was born in that interval and his baptism did not reach us. He does not show up in the PRDH family file because the family files rest on records registered before 1765.
