Good Afternoon, I placed this same email on the Quebec list in 2003 and I am still looking for answers! Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated. I had a few replies before with an offer or two to do a little research for me, but nothing worked out in the long run as we lost contact with each other. Hopefully someone else might be able to offer some help. I would be willing to pay someone to do some research for me Nan Clark Grafton, Wisconsin USA Here is the original email with a few minor changes. Nothing has been discovered since 2003! It's a really huge, sometimes overwhelming, brick wall! ! :) NC Greetings from Wisconsin USA! I was wondering if anyone might know of sks or a professional researcher who could look up this family in Quebec for me. I would be most happy to pay someone to see if he/she could research this family for me - i.e. marriage of Catherine BERO and Joseph JOSEY, baptisms and names of their children and any other details such as deaths and/or burials of family members. If you would want any more information - i.e. research done and details - please let me know and I would most glad to send it to you. Specifically, I am looking for the parents of my GGrandfather, Michael JOSEY - aka Michel JOYAL - and it's very possible that the BERO/JOSEY family listed below in the death document might be just the family I am looking for. I have just recently paid a researcher to look all over the Stormont, Dundee, and Glengarry county churches, including those that were in Mille Roches, now covered by the St. Lawrence Seaway. Michael's first wife, Hannah PHILLIPS was from Milles Roche/Moulinette area. This "clue" below is almost my last hope to locate this family as I have researched in Belleville and Hastings County where he and his first wife, Hannah PHILLIPS JOSEY were living in the 1851 census. My thinking is that this Joseph (below) could be Michael JOSEY'S brother as "my" Michael was supposedly born ca mid 1820s and died in 1908 in Wisconsin - time frame close to Joseph (below). I realize that this death certificate says Joseph was born in Cornwall and there IS a Joseph JOSEY family there, but "my" Michael most certainly could have been born in Quebec before the family moved to Ontario Please would someone see if he or she could give me some help on this family? As I have said before, I would be VERY happy to pay someone to do this research for me. Living in Wisconsin makes it rather impossible to research for myself in Quebec - much as I would love to! Thank you for any help you can give to me. Nan Clark This was in the PRs for Cornwall, Stormont County Deaths #029769.
