    3. Due to a wicked blast of winter and the snowy conditions, we're postponing our monthly meeting. So, we'll be meeting next Saturday, January 15th instead, same time, same place. 3. Hi Linda:- To date, we have yet to receive a petition for release of the 1911 census records. These are very important to many as the 1911 one is the last one prior to World War One -- many did not return. Petitions may be downloaded from -- The Senate one, mainly as Bill S-18 is still stuck in the Senate of Canada http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/index.htm Street addresses are not needed (our privacy) -- but we need NAME, CITY, PROVINCE, POSTAL CODE Sincerely hope you will gather some signatures for us -- in some genealogy groups, members are given Page 2, they take it home and bring it back next meeting. YOU would make one copy of Page 1 -- and high school students are able to sign -- also this makes a good topic for a school discussion. Muriel M.
