Name is Pierre in Church Registers -- either Carre, Larouche... Or Both. Some sources have him and Melina marrying in Ontario. Pierre and Melina were the last ones in their line to use the family name of CARRE -- Their children were baptized and registered with the CARRE name but they varied it when they reached adulthood. After their marriage in Maniwaki, Quebec, Pierre and Melina moved to Sudbury, Ontario. From there they moved to Massey, Ontario. In 1898 they moved their family to Gracefield, Quebec. Four years later, in 1902, they moved to Victoria Mines, Ontario to find work. Pierre had to follow the work... So he then returned to the Massey area. About 1910, the family finally roosted in the Sudbury / Espanola area. Melina was listed as Mary in the 1891 Census Records. Church records have Melina as her first name. Melina died in Toronto at the home of her daughter Angelina Chouinard. Her body rested at Ducharme's Funeral Home. Mass was held at St-Jean-de-Brebeuf Church, Sudbury, Ontario. 8 Francois CARREY b.
