Dear List could any one assist me, in the Drouin files would there be a specific area that people from Ireland might have come to live right around 1845. I only have record that my family relative who was a teacher but also in the Royal Irish Constabulary left Ireland in or around 1844 and went to Quebec city in Quebec but of course I cannot find record of a Quebec city in Quebec. Him, his wife and two sons settled there for about 6 years adding to their family then moving on to New York. Thank you for any help that can be given.
