I am seeking the name of the parents and first wife of John Lessor or Lessard who was born in PQ about 1834. He married his first wife Mary/Marie (last name unknown) by 1853 perhaps in St. Joseph de Beauce. They had at least two children: Adele Ida born: 2 Feb 1860 and Mary/Marie Constance born: 25 May 1856. One or both may have born in St. Joseph. John's first wife died before 1874 (either in Maine or Quebec). By 1874 John has remarried a Celena (last name unknown) probably in Quebec. John and Celena have at least three children; Mary E.(b: 1874 in Canada), Joseph (b:1875 in Canada), and James E. (b:1876 in Maine). John and Celena moved to the US by 1876 and appear in the 1880 US Census living in Brewer, Maine. John's daughter Mary Constance marries Thomas Verow in 1875 in Brewer. His daughter Adele Ida marries Joseph Legasse in 1881 in Brewer. I can find no further record of John Lessor, his wife Celena or their three chldren. Any assistance would be appreciated. Tim King
