To all:- Hopefully many transcribers will read this small message about errors. Many of the pages in Quebec were enumerated in French -- some tried to transcribe in English -- when all one had to do was click on either English or French, on same line as Claim Page. Another grave mistake,,applies also to New Brunswick and French communities in Nova Scotia, is the usage of the married woman using her maiden name. This is an example of what enumerators did - using my names Davidson, William Lewis Head Farquhar, Muriel Marguerite Wife " " The transcribers followed what enumerators wrote -- my three children have Davidson surnames, not Farquhar surnames - this should have been the case on many Quebec pages. Hopefully, search http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ and find a few of these errors - searchers might not know maiden name of mother if searching for children. Either correct or let me know.
