    3. Hello, My ggfather William Maximilian Leo LIEBICH-WHEATLEIGH a Schoolmaster in Berthierville and Westmount, QC up to 1925, then I lost track of him. I know that in 1938 his wife died in England. England tells me they can't find him under LIEBICH or WHEATLEIGH, so he must of died here in Quebec somewhere. He was born 05 Jan 1863. Thank you Ray M. Lyons

    3. I'm assuming you have the 1891 & 1901 censuses? If not, I can send them to you. 3. Hi Ray; Was able to find some Liebich data but not the death of Max Alfred. Seems they were Anglican, and found the death of probably a son in Westmount Adventist Anglican in 1941, but not Max or Maximilian. Would suggest you check the non-catholic deaths at the Quebec Archives in Montreal where they have deaths listed on cardex (both Catholic and non-Catholic) at the Bibliotèque & Archives Narionales du Québec, Viger Street, Montreal. If you can't go there yourself, you might contact them and they MIGHT search. It wouldn't take much time as the cards are filed alphabetically. If you want to call them, search under BANQ - you'll find the full address, tel. nos. etc. Seems the family did not use the Wheatleigh surname in Quebec.
