Hi Sue; May I offer a few words of advice. It will help your party, and also those listers who take the time to assist. I presume your party descends from Joseph Lauzon and Hermeline Blais, and if so, then they must have had children. Might help to give us info on them, such where they married, approx. age, etc. then one can perhaps work backward. Incidentally, Labelle County in Quebec did not become official until some time about 1900 unless I'm mistaken, and St-Jérome is not in that county. Since your party knows that Hermeline also went by the name Emilie, I presume she must have seen some church or other records. Could she tell us what they were? Finally, did you search through Google for that couple? You might be surprised. I couldn't find any mention of them in public trees in Ancestry. I can't find the wedding of Joseph and Hermeline but I have a good idea of who their parents were (not without considerable effort). I'm quite familiar with the Labelle county records..
