LOL At Ancestry in the 1861 the family is enumerated as Boyce: 36 Ths. There is a John, age 23, s/o Thomas 52, born Scotland, and Elizabeth, 54, born in Ireland, Boyes, with siblings: Robert, 25, Easter [sic] age 18, Janet 16, and Sarah 14. The only John Boyes who fits. I can send these images if you want. I can't find his birth/baptism without the Drouin, or parents' marriage, but perhaps someone else can.
