I have a document, "Cadastre Abrege de la Seigneuria de Shoolbred, 1854".........I am interested in the name Magnus FIRTH listed on that document. However, his name has a word before it that is not shown on other names on the list. The word is HERTS (the 'E' has an accent mark above it). Can someone tell me, please, what the word Herts. before Magnus' name stands for? I am wondering what it is and why it only appears before his name and not that of other persons listed. Thank you.
