Hi List, I am looking at the marriage for Pierre GODIN and Marie Angelique CHARPENTIER. Unless I'm missing something, it does not give the name of Pierre's mother nor the parents or previous spouse of Marie Angelique CHARPENTIER. I have Pierre's mother as Marie Angelique LEVEILLE but cannot verify that with marriage. His father's name is Jean Baptiste GAUDIN (GODIN). I am on the Pilot site, Ste. Genevieve de Berthier, 1762-1771, image 47, on right hand page. Needless to say, I am no expert with reading French. :-) I know how to read dates and pick out names and their relationships but that's about all. Am I correct in that this particular info is missing from the marriage? I would love to find Marie Angelique CHARPENTIER's parents so I can continue this line. This is a direct line for me.
