All I could find was Max Liebich with wife and four children (Hugo, Cecil, Dora, Avis) who appear in the 1901 Canada Census under the surname Liebich. I did not find this family in the 1911 Census under either surname in Ontario or Quebec. From the Anglican baptism entry for the youngest child Avis, the mother's name is noted as Marion Boulden. Also found a death registration in 1915 for Catherine Liebich, infant of Cecil Liebich and wife Kathleen C. Sweeny. Cecil's occupation is given as a banker and they were living in Quebec (city). The son Hugo appears on the list of Canadian Expeditionary Forces under the name Eric Hugo Wheatleigh; his papers show that he was born in Lough, Lincolnshire, England, was married to Hazel and they lived at 310 Driveway, Ottawa, ON in 1919. Perhaps someone with access to Ancestry.com can check the departing ships for 1925 to see who accompanied Marion. My Ancestry subscription does include that info. Cheers! Hi, Doreen, Thank you very much for the info. I've been on Ancestry and came to a deadend. I don't know where he went to. Ray M.
