Hi List, Does anyone read Latin? I have a marriage in 1671 and, for some reason, the priest decided to write this marriage in Latin. The marriages before and just after are in French. The marriage, on Pilot site, is for Trois Rivieres, Immaculee Conception, 1634-1577, Image 267. It is the first marriage, left page, just below the date of 1671. It's for Francois Roussel (?) and Magdeleine Pepin. I just need to know the day and month. I think the month is April but I won't swear to it. Sue

I read it to be 7 April 1671 for the marriage of Francois Roussel s/o Jacob Roussel and Magdelene Beauregard and Magdelene Pepin daughter of Guillaume Pepin and Joanne Méchin. Cheers!
