I am helping my husband search for his ancestors, From my research, I have found that Jason’s (my husband) father is James William Desjarlais, and he thinks James’ Dad is named Marcel Desjarlais (possibly wife was Mary Neovard). Jason’s father’s side is a bit of a mystery, since his father walked out when Jason was 3 years old. So we’re flyin’ blind! Some more information – James’ birth year is 1941, and his sister’s name is Patsy (not sure if that’s a nickname). At one time, James married Donalda Favel (Jason’s mom).
