Hi List, I am looking at the marriage register on Pilot site for Lachine, St. Anges de Lachine, 1757-1778, Image # 7, left page, first marriage on page. I am looking at the marriage for Jean Baptiste TRUCHON and Marie Charles (Charlotte) LACROIX. For the parents of Jean Baptiste, I make his parents to be Jean Baptiste TRUCHON and (defunct) Marie Joseph. Don't know if Joseph is middle or surname. I make out Marie's parents to be (defunct) Louis Lacroix dit Dagon (?) and Magdeleine Voy or Roy. Can anyone help with the corrections for parents names? Jean Baptiste and Marie Charles (Charlotte) are my 4th great grandparents. Thanks for any help with this. Sue macduff@embarqmail.com

Hi Fran, Thank-you. I could feel my mother's tongue sticking out on me as I came across that entry in Pilot site. She had even gone to Canada and wandered around the parishes trying to find his death. She did concentrate on the States, though. This man had a tendency to "wander" when wife became pregnant and would return for months, or so my mother says. I was so thrilled to find that that I'm surprised you didn't hear me dancing on your rooftop. LOL I just had to share with list. Not everything I post is a Help Me. LOL I do have one of those coming up but I may wait a day or two. It just may be that there is no birth registration available for the next SEGUIN person I need. I know that does happen. I have been searching for several weeks for the death of Josette/Josephe Corriveau.... She was the wife of Pierre Bolduc, married in 1771. When he died on 29 April 1817, at Saint Vallier, Bellechasse, she was still alive. If anyone has her in their data, I would appreciate her death date. Thanks so much, Paula

I'm not sure about Etienne Bolduc, but Angelique Fortier died 23 April 1837 and was buried 25 April 1837 at St-Gervais, Bellechasse County, Quebec. See her burial record attached. Angelique is a daughter of Jean Charles Fortier and Marie Josephte Leclerc, who were married 12 April 1790 at St-Gervais. (I am researching the Fortier family.) Hi, >From what I can see, his parents were Leandre Boivin and Maxine? Tremblay. This is from the 1878 Baie St. Paul, Charlevoix Marriage. They were marrried the 8th of January. The marriage is on both Ancestry Drouin database and on Family Search's Pilot site. The Pilot site image is much better than the Ancestry. On the Pilot site, it is 1878 Image 13 on left hand page.
