    3. Hi Sue: There are entries on LDS Family Search - for Angelique and for Desanges and showing the same parents and spouse. The birth entry in Drouin is in the name of Marie Angelique so that is the one you should go with. The entry on LDS Family Search "Ancestral file" appears to have been taken from a family history entry submitted to them and may not have been accurately recorded in the first place. Cheers! 3. Hi Doreen, It wasn't the IGI that I got her name from. I started out with the names by using the marriage register for their son, Simon Deslauriers. It stated that his parents were Simon Deslauriers and Desanges Favreau. Her marriage uses the name Desanges. That is what got me confused when I couldn't find a birth for Desanges. I have her marriage to Simon and it said her parents were Simon Favreau and Marie Anne Seguin. I have her parents' marriage register as well. :-) Sue -----Original Message----- From: quebec-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:quebec-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of D. 3. Hi Renée; Drouin, or Ancestry has it indexed under Albert: Ste Anne Church, Sudbury, 18 Sept., 1928: Albert Campeau,, born or bapt in Hanmer on 21 Nov. 1907, s/o Avila Campeau and Louise Miron married Cecile Pelletier, born in Hanmer, bapt in Blezard Vallry on 5 June 1909, d/o Joseph Pelletier & Marie-Louise Guimond. Sp Raoul Campeau & Eugène Guimond. The correct given name is Albert, not Robert, although the writing in the church register might lead one to read Robert. He died in Sudbury on 2 August 1965, buried on 5 August 1965. Funeral also in Ste Anne. Confirmed as the son of Avila and Marie Louise Miron, married to Cecile Pelletier. Was 57 yrs old and died in the Sudbury General Hospital. Are you related? 1. [QUEBEC] Trying to help, but have very little info.......................................
    2. Dear Listers, I am trying to help Cori find her husband's ancestors, but she has very little to go on. I have added her email below hoping that when you read it you will be able to give me some suggestions. I am helping my husband search for his ancestors, From my research, I have found that Jason’s (my husband) father is James William Desjarlais, and he thinks James’ Dad is named Marcel Desjarlais (possibly wife was Mary Neovard). Jason’s father’s side is a bit of a mystery, since his father walked out when Jason was 3 years old. So we’re flyin’ blind! Some more information – James’ birth year is 1941, and his sister’s name is Patsy (not sure if that’s a nickname). At one time, James married Donalda Favel (Jason’s mom). He now lives in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thank you for your time! Cori Roth Married to Jason Desjarlais something to think about: If James William Desjarlais is living in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada, that might be the place to start looking for ancestors, but I don't have any links to get me there. Also, He might have a telephone #, but I don't know how to get it. I have to contact Cori and get her husband's birthdate and place of birth...........their marriage date and place. If anyone can check to see if James was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada, 1941, I'd appreciate it very much. His father Marcel would have been born estimate 1915-1920, possibly Saskatchewan, Canada. Any bits of information or suggestions would greatly help me. At the Canadian Gravemarker Gallery, which is online at: http://gravemarkers.ca ..we can accommodate unlimited numbers of photographs of complete cemeteries from anywhere in Canada. The photographers and/or organizations are given credit on the website for their interest and hard work. * 2. This long established, free-access National Site is proud to announce that there are more than 500 cemeteries completely photographed and onboard, amounting to over 350,000 searchable photographs. There have been over 560,000 visitors to the site. Each day there are over 200 folks browsing the site and there are over 10,000 name searches each month. * 3. This site is not "Sponsored" and therefore does not depend on outside support to exist. However, donations by visitors does help with gasoline to reach unphotographed cemeteries. * 4. If you have family or friends anywhere in Canada, who may be interested in photographing their local cemeteries, please inform them of the availability of The Canadian Gravemarker Gallery. Their photographed cemeteries will have world wide exposure on this National Cemetery website. * 5. If you and/or your organization is interested in your local cemeteries going online, please contact Murray Pletsch at: pletsch@cogeco.ca or murray@gravemarkers.ca - there are no cemeteries too small or too big....! * 6. A comprehensive "Tips and Hints" brochure will be sent to all interested folks....to help them get started photographing entire cemeteries. * * SUBSCRIBING TO THE WEBSITE UPDATES NEWSLETTER: ******************************************** Don't miss future monthly updates. Subscribe to the automatic Gravemarker Galleries Newsletter. Please go to the Website at: http://www.gravemarkers.ca and click on the "Join Updates Newsletter" button located just above the weather row. * * HELPFUL HINTS: ************* 1. Cemeteries online have spousal duplicated photographs. This means a photo of a stone which also has the spouse's maiden name showing, is duplicated and when one searches using the onboard search engine, for a surname, the spouse's surname will be reported as a separate "search result". * 2. If your "search engine" keyword is the same as a city, town, village, township then please read the valuable tips below: * A. *CONCERN:* If your "search engine" keyword you are using is say: pembrok* then your search will pick up all the pembroke surnames....*BUT* ...it will also pick up all the website pages where pembroke is used as a meta name. * B. *SOLUTION:* Change your keyword to pembrok1 and the search engine will only pick up the gravemarkers with the pembroke surname. * 3. If you don't see a Community and its' cemeteries online...it means a volunteer has not photographed and sent me the cemetery photographs. Can you or some of your family and friends help out by photographing the missing cemeteries....? * * Bye for now.....Murray * Cdn Gravemarker Gallery - http://www.gravemarkers.ca * Ontario Historic Gallery - http://www.rootsweb.com/~cannor *
