Looking for birth records for a Casimir Larochelle or Rochelle in Lower Canada around 1823 - 1826 and for an Anna or Lena Fanyou or similar spelling around 1828 - 1833. It's possible that one or both were Protestant. Also a marriage record which would have taken place around 1845 -1848. The first US census they show up in is 1860 they are both listed as coming from France, but subsequent censuses or documents has them listed as coming from Canada or Lower Canada. I am looking for the marriage of Felix St. DENIS and Marie Margurite Docque Laviolette. They and some of their children moved to northern NY state in the 1830's. I am hoping that Felix is the son of Amable DENIS and Pelagie NORMAN who is listed in the Vaudreuil records as bapt. 2 Aug 1798. I am also hoping that Marguerite Docque is the daughter of Pierre DOCQUE and Catherine MOREAU who is shown as b 29 Sept 1794 in Vaudreuil. I am hoping their marriage record will confirm this. I also have no baptisms for any of these children. They were not baptized in NY, so hopefully they will be found some where in the Vaudreil area. Louisa m. m. ________Dukett Peter m. Would some kind person be able to look up the Quebec BDMs for me. I am trying to find the death of Joseph Coveney. According to the 1881 census he was born in Ireland about 1811, and at the time of the census was 71 years of age and living in the Montcalm Ward, Quebec, with his wife Johanna. I am particularly interested in their dates of death, as well as the names of the parents, especially Joseph Coveney. Thanking you so very much in anticipation, Cheers, Deirdre Blunt, From Australia

Thank you for you help with this line. I must tell everyone that I have just begun to use the records on PRDH and I can see that I'll have to check births, deaths and marriages to make sure that I have the true line, not the "step line" if you can say that. Many thanks and thanks too, to the people who have helped me out with the many questions I posted last week. I have learned a lot about "rehabilated marriages" and saints names. What an education I'm getting through family history. Again, many thanks to all. Levitre StGermain is the name of the second husband of Marie Josephe Foucher's mother, who raised her since she was just 8 years old when her mother remarried, hence the names used in Marie Josephe's death certificate and in the marriage record of Marie Angelique.
