    2. Looking for some "official" documention of Pierre Bisaillon's Children and perhaps spouses this is what I was so graciously given and it is good material. I am wondering if any one has any thing to add to it. "Pierre Bisiallon and Marie Therese Osunesa were listed as the parents for their children Pierre and Marie. Michel is listed as fils illegitime [illegitimate son] of Pierre Bisaillon and Marie Asemgamesoua. This information comes from: Parish Records of Notre-Dame de l'Immaculee Conception des Kaskakias, 1695-1799 Registre Illinois: Kaskaskia Publication: Ottawa, ON: National Archives of Canada" Thanks for helping Fran Wilcox

    1. Re: [QUEBEC] Chalut Loiselle marriage
    2. Alice McRae
    3. Paul, there is no marriage for Michel Chalut and Louise Loiselle listed in the St-Joachim de Chateauguay Marriage Repertoire. The Loiselle in Chateauguay are all from the Loiselle dit Venet family which may not be the right family for the Louise you're looking for. 1. Chalut Loiselle marriage
    2. Paul Cote
    3. Bon matin, Would anyone have access to the marriage repetoire for Chateauguay and/or Ste Marie de Beauce? Am trying to confirm the parents of Michel Chalut and Louise Loiselle who married about 1820. Their child Alexis reportedly married in Ormstown in 1857. Michel's presumed parents (if I have the right person named in the PRDH) married in 1789 at Ste Marie de Beauce. The Michel in PRDH was also born in Ste Marie de Beauce (1796). Merci, Paul Cote

    3. A cousin asked me to post this... Looking for the marriage of JEAN-BAPTISTE MORIN and ADEL VALIERE/VALYERE (OR CORDELIA VALLEY/VALLIERE) This would be a revalidation, as they were married by a minister in Vermont, but went to Canada for the revalidation. Their daughter, Alphonsine was born about 1864 in Canada. Remarriage might be about that time.

    1. 1800 -1820 ROXTON SHEFFORD CTY QUE RECORDS
    2. Hello everyone, I am now aware that both civil and church records were not kept in ROXTON as early as 1800. I am wondering if anyone knows what the nearest parish would have been where a family would have been enumerated? This now explains why my HEMINGWAY children were all baptized in Sorel in 1816 on the same day. The family must have moved. BUT, was there any other type of enumeration or census kept during that time frame? Thanks a million! Mary H 8)

    1. correction: ROXTON, SHEFFORD CTY, QUE
    2. Hello everyone, I am seeking information on how to research in Roxton, Roxton Falls or Roxton Pond, Shefford County, Quebec. The time frame is 1800-1817 because the family moved to Sorel in 1817. I have a birth record card from Vermont stating the person's father - DAVID HEMINGWAY - was born in ROXTON. This is the first hint of where he was born, so I am very anxious to find out if anyone knows anything about this area and how I could access data. I want to find information on his parents; perhaps marriage information and on his siblings. Thank you all so very much! Mary H 8)
