Later versions of FTM do not support the CDs, however, all is not lost. Go to this website and you can download the Family Archive Viewer, which looks like a very old version of FTM. Then use the CD icon, and view the CDs as normal. _http://www.genealogy.com/abtffiv.html_ (http://www.genealogy.com/abtffiv.html) I have FTM 2011, downloaded this, and can view all my FTM CDs. Also, my understanding is that all the FTM CDs are available to view as part of an Ancestry subscription, so if you have one, you should be OK. Since I don't, I do rely on my old CDs. Just came into this conversation and got upset--maybe I should go back to the beginning of the thread, but here is my question.  Are you saying that if you no longer have Family Tree Maker, you can't download the CDs?  I have many CDs, but no longer have FTM.  Haven't tried to use them in a long time, but am aware they are there in the drawer when I want them.  Are you saying I can't get the information from them without FTM?   Barbara Barbara L. de Mare, Esq.
