Can someone help clear up a mystery for me? Some information on the net says that Bernard Devonish (died 1694/1695 near Burlington, NJ, married to Martha) came over in 1677, and some says he arrived in 1679. I cannot find the original ship's manifest for the Kent, his alleged boat. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks. best, Paul
Paul, I too would like to see an original passenger list for the "Kent". I had several NJ Quaker ancestors on that ship; and I know relatives must have come with them.... notably William and Pruden (Lankford) Clayton from Chichester, Sussex. If you have any luck, please let us all know!!
