    1. Re: [Q-R] Viewing FTM CDs
    2. As far as I understand, you should be able to download this regardless of what genealogy program you have and view CDs. The download is FREE so if it doesn't work because you don't have FTM you haven't lost anything. In a message dated 10/28/2012 10:36:10 A.M. Are you saying that if you no longer have Family Tree Maker, you can't download the CDs? I have many CDs, but no longer have FTM. Haven't tried to use them in a long time, but am aware they are there in the drawer when I want them. Are you saying I can't get the information from them without FTM? Go to this website and you can download the Family Archive Viewer, which looks like a very old version of FTM. Then use the CD icon, and view the CDs as normal. _http://www.genealogy.com/abtffiv.html_ (http://www.genealogy.com/abtffiv.html) I have FTM 2011, downloaded this, and can view all my FTM CDs. Also, my understanding is that all the FTM CDs are available to view as part of an Ancestry subscription, so if you have one, you should be OK. Since I don't, I do rely on my old CDs. Hope this helps. 3. Perhaps this conversation could take place in another forum. It is definitely off topic for Quaker information. > As far as I understand, you should be able to download this regardless of >> looks like a very old version of FTM. Then use the CD icon, and view >> the >
