    3. Yes of course it is the same George Elkington (earlier, in England, was spelled without the g). However, do regard the pedigree back of Charlemagne's mother with a grain of salt. It might be OK for a few generations..... but there is no proof of many of the generations that some would like to think goes back to Julius Caesar! I have done extensive research on this pedigree of George Elkington's, in fact it was my research in England which finally proved his descent and gave approval for my mother (Mildred Haworth London) and myself to become the first members of the "Order of the Crown of Charlemagne in the United States of America" in 1988, by right of George Elkington as an ancestor.
