Hello , I just found your list this morning and I have lots of questions. On my fathers side of the family I have several Butternuts Quakers all related to the Robbins/Mathewson family. My great great great grandfather's half sister is buried in a Hicksite cemetery in Walworth Wayne County. I would love to learn more about the Wayne County New York Hicksites. On my mother's side I am related to German Quakers of Montgomery County, Pa. This family was already established in Horsham in the 1740's I am not sure how early the Stempel family arrived in America but I found my fifth great grandfather Stempel receiving permission to marry at the Monthly meeting in 1776.:) I ma hoping to learn more about my Quaker roots. I lean toward the Hicksite ideal myself . Linda
