Linda Dabulewicz, 1. I do no people genealogy, but the database now online at www.MonthlyMeetings.com can identify monthly meetings, the location for their records storage and the reel numbers for the LDS or other microfilm of their records. I searched by Wayne County, NY and found only Junius MM (Hicksite branch) whose last meeting place was in that county. https://www.quakermeetings.com/Plone/meeting_view?anID=1669 Perhaps I need to hear the name of the local meeting at Walworth. 2. Jim Hazard's extraordinary name index for every meeting in New York Yearly Meeting is a great place to start. http://www.swarthmore.edu/Library/friends/hazard/ While I seldom search Hazard, I found 296 Robbins and 46 Robins entries, most obviously in Westbury but none in Junius MM under either spelling. When I looked at Butternuts _Monthly Meeting_ in Otsego County and when I did a General Word Search of the entire database, I found no reference to Walworth Preparative Meeting in Wayne County. Here is the Butternuts (Hicksite) record: https://www.quakermeetings.com/Plone/search_display?MeetingName=Butternuts This lack of more references to Wayne County may be my deficiency; for New York YM, I have not added the counties for the PMs the way I have done for Baltimore Yearly Meeting and for various Ohio and Indiana meetings. We do have that sort of information in the list of NYYM local meetings made by John Cox for the WPA. I will try to add that information to www.MonthlyMeetings.com as soon as I finish a major project I am doing for the Baltimore YM Trustees, though that project will still require several months. 3. Jim Hazard is now working his way through Philadelphia Yearly Meeting preparing his name index. As I recall he has done over 20 monthly meetings, already including Horsham: https://www.quakermeetings.com/Plone/meeting_view?anID=1364 I understand that Friends Historical Library has not yet put the Hazard PYM name indices on-line as it has for NYYM. I recall that the Swarthmore IT folks are awaiting Hazard's completion of PYM and then will post the full PYM name index on-line. Until then the bound Hazard indices are available at FHL. Hello, I just found your list this morning and I have lots of questions. On my father's side of the family I have several Butternuts Quakers all related to the Robbins/Mathewson family. My great great great grandfather's half sister is buried in a Hicksite cemetery in Walworth, Wayne County. I would love to learn more about the Wayne County New York Hicksites. On my mother's side I am related to German Quakers of Montgomery County, Pa. This family was already established in Horsham in the 1740s. I am not sure how early the Stempel family arrived in America, but I found my fifth great grandfather Stempel receiving permission to marry at the Monthly meeting in 1776. :) I am hoping to learn more about my Quaker roots. I lean toward the Hicksite ideal myself . Linda
