I am looking for when my grandparents changed their membership to the Friends Church in Winchester, Indiana. Where or how would I go about finding this information? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried the Earlham College website but couldn't find anywhere to ask. Thanks so much. PH DePoy

DePoy, You could search QuakerMeetings.com for meetings in Randolph County, Indiana with a search like this: https://www.quakermeetings.com/Plone/search_display?County=Randolph&StateOrP rovince=Indiana [Many e-mail servers insert a line break or return in long URLs like this one, and one must manually edit the link to remove the break before clicking through to the desired site.] Obviously, you could start with Winchester Monthly Meeting, but most of the 22 monthly meetings that last met in Randolph County would have called themselves "Friends Church." Winchester MM started in 1912 and has deposited in the IYM archives at Earlham 1912-1984 minutes (where membership is usually mentioned) but apparently not separate membership records that would be better indexed. But even if you could find records on microfilm, your grandparents may not have been members long enough ago for this information to be online anywhere. Tom Hill Thomas C.
