Hello, I have been reviewing my notes taken from about 10-12 years ago from correspondence amongst a group of researchers and descendants of the line of Miriam Coppock, daughter of Aaron, and her spouse, Richard Jones. I found a link at Rootsweb.com that nicely summarizes all of the conflicting information about the birthdate and possible parentage of Aaron Coppock. That link is: <http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=waberfritz&id=I15751> Several of the Jones family members believe(d) that Aaron was the son of a John Coppock and born in 1666 at Mobberley, rather than the 1662 date given in the book published many years later, "A Collection of Memorials Concerning divers deceased Ministers and others of the People called Quakers in Pennsylvania, New-Jersey, and Parts adjacent, from nearly the first Settlement thereof in the Year 1787". The main question seems to be: WHICH John Coppock? Dan: the information that I am going to scan and e-mail to you (probably next week) is from the Mobberley Parish Register for 1666 and is available from the LDS: Parish registers transcripts for Mobberley, 1578-1959 <https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/465466> Author: Dale, Alan; Church of England.
