I am descended from the Talley and Grubb families who came to America with William Penn on the Kent. I am seeking information on Frances Vane born about 1660 who married John Grubb of Stokes Climsland. She was probably a Quaker and might have come from British nobility. Any information you may be able to share with me would be greatly appreciatedMy e-mail address is ktalleyho@yahoo.com and thank you for supporting family history.Karen Talley Karen Talley, M.Ed.

In that article it is stated that Frances Grubb's maiden name is unknown. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Grubb There appears to be an active group of Grubb researchers whose work is posted on Rootsweb's WorldConnect web site. Their page on Frances Grubb is here: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=wgrubb98&id=I208&style=TABLE&ti=%2C -- Dan Treadway P. O.
