George CARTER from Bucklebury, Berkshire, England settled in East Bradford, Chester Co, PA he married Elizabeth TULL. They were a Quaker family. Among their children were sons John CARTER b 26 Nov 1723 m Hannah COPE/COOPE; George CARTER b abt 1719 m Lydia WORTH Sons of John and Hannah were: Abraham, John, Jacob, Daniel and James. Sons of George and Lydia were: Thomas b 23 Jun 1745; George b 21 Aug 1747 m Ruth Martin; Joseph b 5 Dec 1749.
