Good Evening, I have just recently made a connection to ancestors that were Quakers. What surprises me is that the bride was of a Quaker background and the groom Moravian, wouldn't this be unusual? Can anyone enlighten me on these religions. This is the lineage: In 1740 they were in Berks co, PA, 1774 in Frederick county Maryland then John Linebaugh m. Elizabeth Reeser on 4 Sept 1798, Shenandoah County, VA by 1795 they are in Greene County, TN. Was Greene County a large Quaker or Moravian settlement? Thank you for your help. Stephanie Miller
