(The parenthesis around Jesse's name were in the Heiss records. Sounds like he might already be deceased?) There is a Jemima WALDRON (sic) who was at Duck Creek Meeting. It does not say where she came from or when but in 1847, she got a certificate to transfer her membership to Back Creek MM in Grant Co, IN. Jemima WALDEN (sic) was received at Back Creek MM in 1848, from Duck Creek, but with the notation that she and the certificate of transfer were to go on to Honey Creek MM in Howard Co, IN. Jemima WALDEN is shown as having been received by Honey Creek MM--but there is no further mention of her. Sounds as though Reuben was either deceased or was not an active Quaker at that time. A quick check of the 1850 IN census records does not show either Reuben Walden or Jemima Walden listed. Joyce Joyce Overman Bowman Indianapolis, IN
