What surprises me is that the bride was of a Quaker background and the groom Moravian, wouldn't this be unusual? No love is blind. I have Quaker who marry out their faith but if spouse come into Quaker faith they can. So do not and disowned by the Quaker for marry out the faith. I many both ways. Elizabeth Reeser on 4 Sept 1798, Shenandoah County, VA by 1795 they are in Greene County, TN. Was Greene County a large Quaker or Moravian settlement? Thank you for your help.
