I have Swithin Chandler, b. 24 Jun 1674 in England, emigrated in 1687, d. abt 1742 in Chester Co, PA. He settled in the Brandywine area and was also in Christiana Hundred. He appears to be a son of George and Jane __ Chandler. I have him married to Ann but no surname for her and no dates. A son Swithin, b. 1715 m.in 1739 Ann Wilson dau of Christopher and Esther Woodward Wilson. Swithin and William (who m. Ann Bowater ) are brothers. I have John and Francis Corbett Bowater as parents of the Ann who married William Chandler. Maybe a second marriage. I have Sarah Bowater (1687-1781) (m John Beals) Her parents are Thomas and Sarah Edge Bowater. My file lists five children of Wm and Rebecca: Joseph, b. abt 1757, Allen b. 1759 - d. 1837, Thomas, William and Rebecca. I have Joseph's two marriages, but no further data on him. Allen m. Sarah Pyle, Thomas m Ann Lamborn, William m. Rebecca Winder and Sarah Harnes or Haines. I can't locate my source right now, but think London Grove MM connection is very good.
