I am a Chandlee descendant of the Pennsylvania Quaker clockmaking family mentioned by Herbert Standing. As far as I am aware, the CHANDLEE family and the CHANDLER family are definitely not the same, even though the old handwriting can sometimes make the last letter seem to be so.
