    3. Thanks for your reply, Billie. I am now about 98% sure that my Abraham Elliott--son of Jacob Elliott was not from Perquimans Co. I haven't given away my Perquimans County books yet....but Jacob and his brother Abraham bring a Certificate from Pennsylvania when they arrive at New Garden MM. Here is what my data base says : Elliott 1763, 11, 26. Jacob (Ellott) & W& ch, Jacob, Elizabeth, Hannah, Israel & William rocf Warrington MM, Pa, dated 1763, 9, 20 (I have a copy of the original MM records for this) I have been very aware of the Perquimans Co. NC Elliotts because I knew that one or the other group would probably be mine as my Catherine Elliott McKinsey was said to have been born in NC. But my big breakthrough this past summer has me no longer looking at the Perquimans lines. I would love to have any help that anyone can give me in sorting out which Elliotts were which in Ohio and Indiana in the 1800's. Thanks for your reply. My Elizabeth Elliott married Hugh Maxwell in 1787 Elliott in N. C. They can be found in Cane Creek M. M. and Center M. M. in the Guilford County area after their marriage. Do you have anything else on this family? People have been trying to tell me my Elizabeth was from Perquimans County also but I can not find the paper trail. 3. Marsha & List - I show in one of my Quaker daabases that John Elliott, b.ca.1700, & wife Sarah had at least three sons. Abraham Elliott, b.ca.1725, Chester co,PA; d.ca.1808, Randolph co,NC marr.1: abt 1754 to Priscilla Foulke marr.2: 11 Aug 1774, Cane Creek MM,NC, to Mrs Sarah (Pike) Piggott; widow of William Piggott (1726-1770) Jacob Elliott, b.ca.1728, Chester co,PA marr. ca.1751. Lancaster co,PA, to Elizabeth ---- (c1733-1791) Benjamin Elliott, b.ca.1730, Chester co,PA; d.15 Feb 1803 marr. ca.1749, York co,PA, to Ann Wall my notes on Jacob Elliott are as follows: -Genealogical records from Warrington MM,PA -Sadsbury MM,. Lancaster co,PA on 6 Oct 1755 Jacob Elliot condemns his outgoing in marriage -Sadsbury MM on 1 Dec 1755 Jacob Elliot requests certificate to Warrington MM -New Garden MM, Rowan co,NC on 26 Nov 1763 Jacob Ellott & wife & 5 children received on certificate from Warrington MM,PA dated 20 Sep 1763 -Center MM set off from New Garden MM,NC in 1773 -New Garden MM on 27 Apr 1782 Jacob Ellott & hw Elizabeth & 4 children received on certificate from Center MM dated 21 Jul 1781 -New Garden MM on 31 Jan 1784 Jacob Ellott & hw Elizabeth & 4 children granted certificate to Center MM It appears that John & Sarah Elliott transferred their membership from Burlington MM,NJ to New Garden MM, Chester co,PA in 1722. They may have been Charter Members when Sadsbury MM was established by New Garden MM. I have seen no indication of when they were married or how they came to be members of Burlington MM,NJ.
